Mediation

As part of its practice the Firm operates a mediation service in relation to the following areas:

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary non-binding without prejudice process used for the purpose of resolving disputes. It involves a meeting or series of meetings which are facilitated by a neutral individual called a mediator who assists the parties to the dispute to try and negotiate the settlement.

Mediation is not about forming judgments in relation to the merits of either party's case. Mediation is about helping the parties reach their own agreement by establishing areas of agreement, areas of contention and trying to facilitate a resolved outcome.
